I've always been a fan of snow, but this winter is truly testing my affection. I love the soft drifts and the wild wintery scape, but I do live in the sticks and now that the ditches have been blown full of snow, the road out to our place is quickly become quite the treacherous path. With a white snow-sky and white fields for miles, it's almost impossible to see where the road actually is with my snowblind eyes. The RM grater came on Monday morning and sweetly scraped a wide clear path down our road and around our driveway, but already by this morning there was a 15 foot long drift up to the truck tires as I attempted to leave the yard. The good news is that the fridge is full from a recent grocery trip, the furnace works like a charm and I don't have a *real* job, so it's not the end of the world if I'm snowbound.
