As I may have mentioned in past posts, I was thoroughly disappointed with my garden this year. However! The three varieties of heirloom potatoes that I planted did grow: Yellow fingerlings, Alaskan Sweethearts, and Prussian Blues. I was pretty excited to see the different colours and taste theses varieties. I roasted the fingerlings with olive oil, rosemary and garlic, which was quite delicious. The other two I boiled and mashed; they tasted like...wait for it.......potatoes. Yep. Not too much different except the wildly fun colours.
