It's finally warm enough to hang the laundry outside (though my fingers did get a bit frosty yesterday morning from the wet clothes). After hanging the laundry on a line in the basement all winter, I am so glad I can venture into the outdoors once again. Besides the fact that I have to wait at least two days before it dries in the basement, there is nothing that compares to the smell of clothes dried in the wind. Falling asleep with the smell of the outdoors on my sheets: one of the things I look forward to most about spring.
